Nica’s Trip to Israel Fund

Hello! As some of you may or may not know, I am very passionate about traveling, learning about different cultures, and meeting new people. I love trying new things and exposing myself to different perspectives. As it so happens, I have been given the opportunity to take part in all these experiences! But I need your help:)
I was selected among several applicants to be part of my high school’s (Granada Hills High School) Youth Ambassador Student Exchange Program! Over the course of three weeks, I, along with other students from Granada Hills HS and Israel will travel to Washington DC, New York, and Israel (Jerusalem, Haifa and Tel Aviv) to visit historic places and see new things.  In Israel,  will be living with an Israeli family. Prior to my trip an Israeli exchange student will be living with us to learn about the American way of life and culture.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity which will enable me to learn and experience a different culture, make new friends and of course, see new places!  I would appreciate all your support and any amount you can donate ($5, $10, $20, $50, $100 or more!) to make this trip possible for me. The funds raised will be used for airfare, hotel accommodations, food, and sightseeing.  The total cost for the program is $3,000.  The deadline for me to raise the funds is Sept. 30.
