Niall "The Champion's" Fight

My nephew, Niall was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma -a rare cancer of the retina in his left eye. While discovering the cancer, they learned he is also blind in that same eye.

Today he is having an MRI to see if the cancer has spread  to the right eye / or to his brain / or to a different part of his body.  The MRI will also determine what kind of treatment he will need - chemo or eye/ tumor removal.

His parents, Ben Hoy and Alexandra Vaughn have an extremely hard journey in front of them and I am asking for any support possible on their behaf. While they are truly amazing parents to Niall, they have two daughters, Daphne and Amelia they are looking after.

Ben and Allie both work for two wonderful companies in our Iowa Falls community - but this journey will require some missed time there.  While we know Insurance will cover some costs -- We have yet to learn the full financial burden this situation may cause.

If you can find it in our heart to offer any support to this family, we would all greatly appreciate it. There is no amount too big or too small in a situation like this.

Niall is an amazing little boy who has the greatest smile and spirit -- He loves Paw Patrol, his dog Luther and his family. Please keep him and our

family in your thoughts. 

There aren't a lot of words to express how we as a family are feeling. We are staying positive and strong as we begin this fight, knowing this is just the beginning.
