Niall reach 25th World Scouting Jamboree - Korea

Hi, I'm Niall Horgan and for my summer challenge, I'm going to swim for 10mins in every hour for 24 hours.

I'm doing this because I have been selected as 1 of the 36 scouts and explorers going to represent the Highlands, Islands, and Northeast of Scotland at the 25 World Scouting Jamboree in South Korea in August 2023.

To make this journey I need to fundraise £4000. However, this is not just for me, part of the fund will also cover the expenses for scouts and explorers from less socially and economically developed countries. Without our help, these Scouts/Explorers wouldn't be able to afford to go to the Jamboree.

I've been working hard on this goal since I found out that I was fortunate enough to be given this life changing opportunity. Up till now, I've done a number of events such as a market stall, bakesales, chocolate tombolas, and a car boot sale. None of this would have been possible without the support of local clubs, friends, family, and the public.

This challenge will commence Monday the 18th of July at 11am on Sherkin Island County Cork, Ireland and it will finish at 10:10 on Tuesday the 19th of July.
