Countless NHS frontline workers are risking their lives daily and will continue to do so over the coming months as the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic takes hold. Over and over they will put their lives on the line by working in the most high-risk environments and they do this whilst trying to save you or people you may know.
NHS frontline workers responding to the pandemic do so knowing that they may not survive. They risk their own lives and futures with their families (in some instances, children) for you to have a future with yours.
This selfless act is being recognised and applauded by the public; however, once the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis is over some will have lost their lives leaving an unfillable void in their family.
The British public have been great in showing support for our NHS frontline workers. It’s now time for us to step up from great to amazing. It’s time for us to say we’ll look after your loved ones, like you looked after ours.
This fundraiser is to help support the families of NHS frontline workers whose lives are lost as a result of this pandemic. The money raised will be used to support family members to cover funeral costs in the first instance, and in the longer term to help with housing (mortgage/rent), healthcare, education and emotional/mental health support.
The loss of a loved one is unimaginable. By donating however much you can afford, you will help us to look after the loved ones of those who have given their lives in looking after our community.

Q: Why fundraise with Go Fund Me and not Just Giving or something similar?
A: Go Fund me is the only platform that gives 100% of donations to the cause. Other platforms take a percentage of the money raised ranging from 5% - 10%.
Q: How will it work/distribution of money?
A: Fund is for dependants of NHS workers only not other relatives. Family member makes a request for support/funds. Once they are verified, funds are released.
Q: Can family members apply for support for anything?
A: This fund is restricted in the short term to funeral cost and mid to long term housing (mortgage/rent), healthcare, education and emotional/mental health support.
