Please help me get Posaconazole

Hi - my name is Maria Umpierre.

 

I have Cystic Fibrosis and as a result, I had to get a double lung transplant seven years ago. Unfortunately in the recent months I have been getting treated for rejection. 

 
There is a medication that is essential to keep one of my anti rejection levels stable (posaconozale) other name for it is Noxafil. Because I quit taking this medication sometime ago as per dr's orders assuming that I was OK, this led to my tacrolimus level dipping down which landed me in the hospital in January 2015. It took awhile for me to be released from the hospital largely due to the fact that my tacrolimus level will not go up, it was not until days after adjusting the dose that we have come to the relization that I have a fungal infection & that the posaconazole was a reason why my level would not go up. In short, posaconzole helps mainain my tacrolimus/prograf level.

The lower the level gets, the higher risk of rejection I have. This is a very important medication since it is at the cost of my health.

Unfortunately my insurance does not cover for this medication and the total cost is $1,500.  The last time I was able to get this medication was because the social worker at my hospital used a voucher in order to cover for all of the co-pays of my medication before I got discharged back in December.

While I wait for financial assistance in order to be able to obtain this medication at a cheaper price, I am running out and I am unsure when the application will be processed/complete. I cannot afford to miss any more doses of posaconzole because getting sick again will pose a greater risk than the previous times I have been treated for rejection.
