Hi!
We are Eamon, Aidan, and Dustin, we are cross-country skiers from Vancouver, skiing for the British Columbia Ski Team and the Hollyburn Race Team. The three of us are lifelong cross country skiers with the Hollyburn Ski Club.
This March, after Nationals in Thunder Bay, we’ll travel with the BC Ski Team to tour Northern Sweden for two weeks of international racing and experiencing Swedish culture. While in Sweden we will:
-Live and train with other junior (under 20) Swedish athletes in Gällivare, who we trained with this past fall in Whistler, BC.
-Compete in the Swedish National Junior Cup in Boden.
-Ski in the Dundret Runt or "Ski Around the Mountain" ski marathon in Gällivare.
-Give updates about living and racing in Sweden.
For two weeks we’ll tour Northern Sweden and experience international racing
The trip cost in $2600 and includes:
-All flights
-Ground transportation
-Accommodation
-Waxing and coaching support
-Trail and race fees
-Most of our meals in Sweden
The total donations will be divided between us and will help partially cover the fees for the tour. In return, we’ll give updates of the trip along the way. Every little bit helps!
