Save Daniel

Hi our names are Wilson Rodriguez and  Angie Portes. This is our 1 year old son Daniel Rodriguez.  He has been recently diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia which is a very rare, serious, and life threatening illness. It is when your Bone marrow is unable to make enough blood cells. Daniel needs a bone marrow or stem cell, full match transplant in order to be cured. He will be undergoing Immunosuppressive treatment with only a 50-60% response rate and with high chance for relapse. Not a cure but remission. The drugs used for this treatment are also very harsh and can cause there own serious side effects and sickness. The only cure would be his own umbilical cord (which we do not have) or sibling match for transplant. Daniel only has 1 sibling his 3year old brother Noel, whom is not a a full match. We want to begin the process of Pgd testing with IVF. This would mean 100% chance at saving Daniel’s life and not having a relapse later on. Any contribution would help. We are trying to save our sons life! We are thankful for any and all help. Please help us cure and save Daniel.
