We are trying to raise money to help our shop NexGen Comics.
First and foremost I want to assure people we are not going out of business. We understand these are trying time for everyone. We do this reluctantly but after long deliberation we have decided to ask.
What the money is for.
1. We like most people have not been making much money as of late. This means part of the money collected will go towards bills.
2. We have an opportunity to expand our shop if we can get the money together quick enough. We committed to doing this awhile ago if the space opened up. Then the pandemic happened and the space opened up but with everything going on taking this space and renovating it will be much more difficult without assistance. This one is on a clock the owner is trying to rent it asap. This means our window to grab the space is limited. That said to do this depends how fast we can get the funds together. Most people who know us can tell you this has been something we have been trying to do for a very long time and spaces don't open up often.
3. We are also looking to do other renovations especially if we can get enough funds together. Example ( opening up the wall ,new counter and floors dear god the floors lol)
We understand that not everyone has extra money. We know these are trying times and we appreciate people just supporting us even if they cant give money. The fact that you are reading this means a lot to us. If people can share this and spread the word that would greatly help also I can not express how much the NexGen community means to us.
