Newton Grant Fire Fund
Donation protected
Friends and family,
My good friend Julia Newton Grant, her baby boy Rylan, and her Mom Wendy lost their home on Christmas Eve 2016 from a house fire. Everyone is safe. But they must relocate from the home. They didn't have the chance to enjoy their Christmas dinner, and a good majority of their clothing and household items were smoke damaged. They have salvaged 2-3 gifts but that is it.
They lost everything. Clothes, food, hygiene items, Christmas presents, everything. Please, if you can help in any way (baby boy clothes size 2T, clothes for them, toys for christmas, blankets, money donations, etc), please reach out so we can get these much needed items to the family. The family is in need of items as soon as possible, so please donate what you can. Any little bit helps.
Let's make Christmas happen for this beautiful family!! I am going to set a goal of $2,500, which should be enough to purchase new clothes, some christmas gifts, and much needed necessities. If you wish to donate more, please feel free. The family would be very appreciative. Thankfully everyone is safe, but the emotional trauma is overwhelming.
Love and hugs to this lovely family and thanks to the amazing MIB (Musqueam Indian Band) staff, friends, and family that have responded so quickly with support.
