Donation protected
This emergency relief fund is for Brittany Knippenberg (Dunmire)
The day after Christmas, Saturday December 26th, Newlyweds of 3 months BRITTANY (32) and JIMMY KNIPPENBERG (28), along with his sister Raquel (pregnant with twin girls), brother in-law Daniel, and 2-year-old niece Maleigha were driving down the highway late at night after visiting family for the holidays in Jacksonville, FL when they were struck head on by a 31-year-old drunk driver 3x the legal blood alcohol limit, traveling the wrong direction without headlights.
There were many fatalities on this evening, with the loss of Brittany’s spouse Jimmy (upon impact) and twin nieces. Her sister in-law is in critical condition, while her brother in-law and other niece had minor injuries.
Brittany is currently hospitalized at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital will need relief funds for her ongoing medical needs, as well as funeral expenses, loss of income, and traveling expenses when released to come home to Ohio. She has suffered many life altering injuries; she will have a long road to recovery physically and mentally. She has undergone surgeries for a broken shoulder, arm, and leg.
Brittany’s life is forever changed with the loss of her spouse, loss of income, accruing ongoing medical expenses, and with the pandemic still looming she will surely experience insurmountable financial hardship. But with our support she will be able to rest a little easier through this tragedy knowing she can keep the home Jimmy and she worked so hard to create.
