Newcastle Hunters 2019 National Club Championships

We are the Under-14 girls Newcastle Hunters basketball team. We have qualified to participate in the 2019 Australian Under-14 National Club Championships, being held in Ballarat, Victoria from 30 September – 5 October.
The tournament is run by Basketball Australia showcasing the best 24 teams in Australia, to see who will be crowned the number 1 team in the country.
To qualify we have had to work extremely hard and travel throughout NSW to take on some stiff competition. We have excelled throughout the season to finish as undefeated in all three of our competitions so far with a winning record of 28-0.
We aim to compete at a high level at the National Championships and test ourselves against the best in the Country.
To send our team from Newcastle to Ballarat is an expensive exercise, but a once in a lifetime opportunity, so we are looking for support from anyone who is willing and passionate about Junior Basketball and supporting a team of young girls pursuing their dreams and aspirations to become the number 1 team in the country.
