On Saturday, December 9, I was driving home from the grocery store when I lost control of my car. I hit a patch of ice while turning a corner and crashed into the guard rail, which luckily prevented me from tumbling down a hill.
Thankfully, I was not hurt. My car, however, was totaled and insurance won't be covering anything.
While I hate asking for money, a few people recommended I create a gofundme to offset the cost of buying a new car. If I lived in the city, I could probably get by without one; but since I live in rural WV for the time being, I can't even get to the grocery store without one. (There also aren't any cabs, Ubers, or forms of public transit out here.)
