New year smile project

I’m just a girl with her sewing machine who wants to make a difference to brave souls battling mental health. 
We all can empathise that the festive period, although fun is stressful but especially so when battling mental health. From experience though I know the new year can be tough, if not tougher. After the big build up we go into the new year and sometimes it just hits us, another year and we are still fighting. For many the new year is hard and scary. I want to help brighten up the new year for those of us fighting our own battles with mental health. If I can raise the full £1000 I will be sending out between 100-200 care packages over the course of January 2021 to these beautiful souls around the country and with various struggles. I believe everyone deserves a little pick be up in the January blues, and I will be sewing handmade face masks, lavender bags for these packages to help us relax and stay safe. Along with lots of positive affirmations  and some self care items. I wish for everyone battling mental illness to feel loved valued and their struggles to feel validated. I hope these packages will help.
