New Wheelchair for Garry Box

This gofundme is to help raise funds for a replacement electric wheelchair for Garry. His current chair is old, in disrepair, and not correctly sized causing pressure sores because it is too small.
Garry was in a car accident on July 6th, 2008, and was ejected from the vehicle. It resulted in paralysis from the middle of the chest down. The accident took many things from Garry. His job as a Correctional Officer, his job as a volunteer firefighter, the eventual amputation of both legs, and ultimately his marriage. Since the accident, Garry has seen challenge after challenge but remains optimistic about life.
Garry's insurance company can provide him with a new electric wheelchair that will give him back his mobility and independence but the copay is very high. Now a single father, Garry lives on his own with his son but has a very limited fixed income.
