New store coming with your help

My name is Freddie Martinez, and I am the owner of Pagan Fyre, a 900 sq ft Metaphysical, newage store located in Cornelius, Oregon between Hillsboro and Forest Grove.

I opened this store over 17 months ago and like everyone in this pandemic I have had my ups and downs. I currently employ one individual with the plan to hire more as the business grows.

I am raising funds now for an expansion. I have been planning to build a larger Store, Cafe, Community Area, and reading rooms, in a 6400 sq ft space.

In the store section, I would carry products spanning many Traditions and Pantheons with some sections expanding and/or changing depending on the needs and wants of the Community.

In the Cafe section I would carry the products to create many of the drinks you would find at local coffee shops, as well as carrying teas, Deity inspired drinks, and a small selection of foods.

In the Community section of the store, the space would be open for community events such as fairs, bazaars, meetings, workshops, and more. While not in use the Community section could host games such as Dungeon and Dragons, Pokemon, and Magic the Gathering. We would also be open to meetups in a safe accepting atmosphere.

What makes me believe I can pull this off? I have been in retail for over 14 years now, in big corporations, and small stores, including six years in management. I have a team of community members who are reviewing the plans I have, and giving critical feedback. I am a planning type person who likes to have everything drawn out and planned.

What have you done to prepare for opening a store this size? I have been in contact with over twenty different wholesale distributors around the country, as well as starting to create manuals and policies for safety, food handling, and disaster preparedness. I have also been in contact with the department of health, department of agriculture, and the city planning department to assist me in getting ready to open a store such as this. I have also started collecting fixtures and other equipment I will need to open the store.

Basic Inventory: $51,060.00

Fixtures: $10,000.00

3 Month payroll savings: $43,200.00

3 Month rent and Utility savings: $20,959.29

Total $125,219.29

I don’t have much money, is there other ways I can help? Finding deals on tables, chairs, storage, fixtures, paint, and volunteering for projects are ways to help without spending much money, just time. Also you can come shop at our current location, the more money I gain here the more it goes for the new shop.

How much have you been able to raise and save in cash? As of today I have saved $314.00 in a separate savings account
