New Roof and Life Repairs

I was given only a 7% chance to survive!!! Came back and Hurricane Ian attacked!

Hi, my name is Kara! I am a single mom of two AMAZING kidZ, Zackery and Zoey! They are my world! Like any mom, I would do anything for them. Including, reliving through the worst night of my life, to ask and pray for help!

I had a car accident in April 2019. From there everything fell apart. I was happy. My kidz were happy. I had an amazing guy, hardworking, hard headed, but the best smile ever! He was the fixer. But, the fixer is gone, he had to fix himself, the dog died, 23 surgeries in 2.5 years... I officially became the worst country song EVER!

So....

I had to learn to walk again.

I had to learn how to live and survive again. This time, on my own.... hopefully with a little help from my friends!!!

Hurricane Ian hit us last year and while most of the state was granted Government assistance, Martin County was NOT!!! No FEMA, no project Blue Roof, no United WAY, no Red Cross, I could continue. But you get the picture!

So Kidz are with their Dad. Fixer went back up North. Hopefully living his best life. Annnd I am doing everything in my powerless power to prevail...

But so far....

There truly is more thing to list, but too many to mention...

To top things off,, i dont have homeowners insurance (yes I know, DUMBEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE). The city is now coming down on me for NOT doing the repairs, BUT said they also can't help till August! The County said beginning of Next year!?!

This is when my Jaw DROPPED. I don't care about the items we lost. That is easily replaced. But this is OUR HOME. Our salvation. Our refuge to weather the storm... this time, the storm won!!!
