Brenda's New Vision

Someone once said "being helpless was apart of paying dues" I must say after recently seeing my mother lose vision in her right eye, thats exactly how I felt helpless. Helpless is something my mother Brenda Carter has never been, always ready to lend a hand and go the extra mile to.get things done. She has been a chemical dependency counselor for over 20 years now, Ive seen her dedicate her life towards helping her clients. I watched her push herself to finish school while taking care of John (my eldest brother), Elijah (my older brother) and I all by herself. I admire her courage and strenght to set her mind on goals and acheive them without letting any obstacle get in her way. Always the first to volunteer and extend a helping hand, my mother has always went above and beyond to help those who needed her. I, myself always thought she was just to friendly but as I got older I recognize the good deeds in what she was doing. Even in her career she always dedicated herself to ne there for her clients making them feel welcome like family instead of clieints.  Recently my mother has lost vision in her right eye causing her to go completely blind. She is not able to drive which is causing her to miss work amd lose money. As the independent woman she is everything falls on her and she has fallen behind. With her eye surgery coming up very soon, I decided to reach out and ask for help. Her surgery is $3,500 we are asking that any and everyone who can help donate towrds Brenda's new vision please do. This has been quite an humbling experience for my mother and our family. My mother deserves her new vision and so much more. If I myself could give her these things I would, as I mentioned before she has helped so many this time she needs help. So lets do this for my mother Brenda Carter!!
