Nevaeh’s Headstone

Long shot here and I hate asking people for money, especially after so much was raised for me to cover Nevaeh’s funeral costs which helped so much I was able to give her the most perfect day and I am so grateful to everyone who donated before, and I am in no way expecting to raise my target.. 

I am aiming to raise some money to put towards Nevaeh’s headstone now that the ground has nearly set, a baby’s grave takes 3-6 months to settle and stop sinking and it’s now been just over 3 months since she was buried. The headstone I have had in mind since the funeral was this castle headstone as I’ve always called her my princess since the day I found out I was having a little girl so I think it’s perfect for her and fit for our little princess. The headstone costs 1570 for just the stone and is 2 pound for each letter I get engraved and then they charge extra to change the colour of the marble and the writing, i would love the marbel white with pink writing so it’s really bright and pretty.

Anything I raise will be put away until I have the full amount for the headstone and until I know the ground has completely set because I don’t want the headstone sinking, any donation will be really appreciated. 

For people who read this and don’t know Nevaeh’s story... Nevaeh was born on the 23rd June 2020 , she was healthy and able to come home straight away so we thought, when she was 9 days old she had a seizure in which she got rushed into Birmingham children’s hospital where they did many tests and told us she had Ecoli Meningitis and sepsis , they told us she has 50/50% chance of survival but if she did survive she would be blind, deaf, not able to walk or talk, epileptic, not able to be fed by a bottle , ect so basically brain dead. As time went on her brain damage from the meningitis was getting worse, we decided to make the decision to take her off the ventilator and see how she coped without it, but she wasn’t able to cough up or swallow all her secretions which resulted in a build up on her lungs of saliva ect which made her struggle to breath, she passed away at 24 days old on the 17th July 2020. 

Nevaeh was my first and only baby, I got pregnant with her when I was just 19 and had her at 20. When I was pregnant with her and when she was here I always made sure everything was perfect for her, I always wanted her to have the very best so every mother does. I can not wait to give her a headstone that’s as perfect as her.
