Nevada’s #1 youth Football team

We are back again. The Nationally recognized and formally known Reed Raiders 12u youth football team is ready for another exciting season. Well, we don't know exactly what the team name will be this year as we are trying to give everyone in Northern Nevada the opportunity to be part of the most exciting team. Last year the team played in a National Invitational in Seattle, won the Rumble in the Rubies, won the SYFL Championship, won the State Championship and finished the year winning the Turkey Bowl in Sacramento CA. This team is likely the most decorated youth football team ever to play in Northern Nevada. They have beat teams from Ohio, North Carolina, Las Vegas, Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, Pittsburg Sacramento, Seattle, Elko and every team in their division and the division above them in Northern Nevada. I'm sure I have left some teams off this list. Because of our success most of our games will have to be played against teams from outside this area.

These accomplishments have put the Reno/Sparks area on the map for youth football. This team isn't like any other. Our motto is no player left behind. We have continually made sure any child wanting to play football regardless of having the financial needs is able to play. We have fundraised, done car washes and other community activities all to guarantee everyone plays. My wife and I also pay out of our own pocket to ensure this happens. We teach the kids that if you put your mind to it and work for anything you can accomplish it. We stress being good students and make sure kids struggling in school get assistance. Kids who are not behaved at school or not completing their work can be part of the team but will not play. Our coaching staff is committed to these kids. We have met with teachers and even attended parent teacher conferences. The majority of our kids do not play any other sports. This is the only team they are part of. The goal for this team is to qualify and play for an AYF National Championship in Florida in December or any other National Championship the team is invited to participate in. This will have to be earned.

With all of this being said we need some help to make these athletes' dreams come true. We need financial assistance to help pay for equipment(girdles, mouth pieces, some cleats), Jerseys/Uniforms, travel, lodging, practice facility fees and food. If anyone wants to pay for the uniforms we would gladly wear a patch representing you or your business on them or put your logo on our helmet. I will use the money from this gofundme campaign to directly pay for the players travel, equipment, uniforms, lodging, practice facility fees and food. I will not make any money off this campaign.
