Nepalese Classroom Transformation

Hi There,

Thanks for visiting this page! In February myself and 9 other students from the University of Wollongong will be working alongside a range of local NGO's in the Kathmandu region in Nepal in order to bring creative educational opportunties to the local children.

We have set up a GoFundMe in page to help raise funding for the remodelling of a Nepalese classroom as part of the International Childrens Resource Institutes (ICRI) initiative to bring creative and educational learning opportunities to the Kathmandu Valley region. This program has been scientifically designed to help develop reading, writing and motor skills amongst the local children.

In order to help with this experience we are asking  for donations, either big or small, that will enable us to remodel classrooms from small, rural designs with new furniture, materials and necessary teaching and learning equipment.

We can't bring this amazing learning experience to the region without your help!

If you want to learn more about the ICRI's programs, or about what UOW is doing to create educational opportunities in the Kathmandu Valley Region, just ask!
