First of all, please read my blog to stay updated with the journey God has placed me on.

Blog: One day at a time

Second, I would like to explain where this money is going and what I am doing in Nepal.
As of now, I have been in Nepal for 6 glorious, beautiful, heartbreaking, and impactful months. I arrived here on August 2nd, and I have no plans of leaving any time soon.

My story:
Well, the story begins after I dedicated my life to Christ when I was 18 years old. I made the decision because, sitting in my room without hope, God came in and found me. He promised me a hope and future and I have never been the same.
I was dating a guy. A great guy, dont get me wrong. But after going on a short term mission trip to NY, the Lord prompted me to end it. Scared it was the wrong decision, I prayed for 2 weeks straight. "Lord, if it is YOUR will for us to end this relationship- please, please let me HIM break up with ME." He came to me after 2 weeks, "Karina, you will not believe this but the Lord told me to break up with you." Me: SPEECHLESS.
A little after this many different prophecies were spoken over me:
-You will be a foreigner in a foreign land
-God is calling you overseas
One word that was spoken to me: "Nepal"
Me: "What? Where is that?!" I did some research, but quickly lost interest due to my daily activities.
One year later I applied to be a missionary to the Philippines with a mission organization. They called me back, "Karina, I know you applied to the Philippines; however, we prayed, and we believe God is sending you to Nepal."
So I went on a short term mission here, in Nepal and was blown away. I have never felt a call and so much burden in all my life, I knew God was calling me here long term.
After returning home, I prayed fervently, and the Lord opened up all the doors.

Now, if you feel led to donate, here is where your money will go:
1. Currently, I am sponsoring two orphan girls and sending them to school here. If the Lord leads me to more children who need help with school fees, then I will also sponsor them too. Everyone deserves a chance in school.
2. I am planning another mission to Humla (far west/ most remote area of Nepal) it is expensive for foreigners to go there because of needed permits.
3. I work two jobs and may be taking on a third. But I cannot get paid for any of it. So, yes, the last point is for my personal expenses. (Paying my Nepali host family, food, hygiene, etc)
4. As I believe I am called to start schools and plant churches, it is essential for me to be fluent in Nepali. Right now, I can speak a little bit. But I will need money to pay for a tutor in order to be fluent.

Please pray before donating. God is over this and I trust that if He asks you to donate, it is because He wants to use YOU. Thank you, and I pray God is doing marvelous work in all of your lives.

Lastly, feel free to contact me through here if you have any further questions. :)
