Nena's Second Chance at Life

Our dear friend Nena Malda is the life of the party with a heart of gold. She knows that having a good time is belting out "My heart will go on" by Celine Dion on karaoke with your family and friends. She treats all of her friends like family, because even though blood is thicker than water, wine will have you seeing double. After having lived in Japan for over a decade, she returned to the Philippines and looked after one of friends in her own time of need.

Nena is now in a time of need. Her once bellowing laugh and striking dance moves have been replaced by her gasping for breath and immobility. Local doctors are still uncertain of what her ailment is and she has not been able to see a specialist in the city. Everyday, her condition deteriorates and she barely has the energy to smile her winning smile.

As each day goes on, Nena continues to lose her battle in this mysterious ailment.  We kindly thank those who have already helped Nena through lifting her spirit with prayers and kind words but we humbly ask for a bit more help. 

With the money we raise, Nena will be able to travel to the city to see a more experienced doctor and specialist. We know we are asking for a bit of money but even the smallest donations will be greatly appreciated. Help Nena go on to sing more songs, dance more dances and live more days.
