Nely & Yesica's Marian Pilgrimage

My dear friends Nely and Yesica are planning to go on a Marian pilgrimage this November to grow in a deeper love of our Mamma Mary but they cannot go without your help! They need to fundraise $7,000 to be able to go on this trip! So far they have fundraised enough to buy flights. But they still need $4,000 more to buy train tickets, look into hostels, etc. Their trip is planned for November 6th!
I first met them last summer in Honduras when I was a missionary with the Missioners of Christ . They work with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in Matagalpa, Nicaragua and have been beautiful instruments in doing God's work!

Hi Brothers and Sister in Christ,
We pray that through the Risen Lord, the light of faith, hope, and love shines in your lives, together with the tenderness of the Virgin Mary, our Heavenly Mother.
We write to you guided by our trust in the Lord, with the support of Fr. Agustin Conner of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (CFR). Fr. Agustin is responsible for the Health and Life Ministry in the Diocese of Matagalpa. By the mercy of God, we are servants in this apostolate, one of which is Corazon Puro .
This year we celebrate the 100 year anniversary of Our Lady’s first apparition in Fatima. With the support of the friars, we have discerned a call to begin a Marian pilgrimage, with the hope that we will grow in love and devotion to our Heavenly Mother. We hope to begin at the shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, putting our hearts in her hands as her little shepherd children, so that she may fill us with grace. Next, we hope to visit the shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, collaborating with her mission of peace and love for her children. We would end our pilgrimage with a visit to the Queen of Peace shrine in Medjugorje, where we hope to embrace her sweet maternal heart in great faith.
Our Heavenly Mother knows the desires of our hearts. As a humble and gentle mother, she also knows our needs. We humbly invite you to be a part of our journey, which will be made possible through your generosity and support. We seek your collaboration in order to reach our goal of $7,000 to cover travel expenses.

My name is Yesica González Zeledón. I am 28 years old and I work for the Love and Life apostolate, which is part of the Health Ministry of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. This ministry teaches the meaning of authentic love through formation on themes related to sexuality, chastity, and the dignity of the human person in high schools throughout the Diocese of Matagalpa.
In 2012, I made a retreat with Corazon Puro Nica, and thanks be to God, I became a part of the mission team, sharing formation based in the teachings of Pope John Paul II, emphasizing the virtue of chastity. Similarly, I provide support in various other activities to strengthen the mission in the area of leadership and organization.
I am also an active member of the Comunidad Cristiana Hijos de Dios (CCHDD) or the Children of God Christian Community which is in the Diocese of Matagalpa. I became part of the intercession ministry in 2014. I am also studying for my Master’s Degree in Business Administration in the city of Matagalpa.
My personal intention is to have an encounter with the Love of our Mother. On March 25, 2016 I made my first 33 day consecration, beginning with a glorious sunrise and ending in Montaña de la Paz (Mountain of Peace) in Matagalpa. I know that our Heavenly Mother guides me and leads me toward the True Love that is Jesus.
My name is Nely Herrera. I am a psychologist, working part-time with children under age 10 who have special needs. Throughout the week I help out with Corazon Puro, which belongs to the Health Ministry of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. I am an active member of the missionary team, and my service extends to counseling youth who are experiencing difficult circumstances. I form a part of a small community within this same apostolate called Hijas del Corazón de María (HCM) or Daughters of the Heart of Mary, which is an intercession team for the needs of the youth within Corazon Puro Nica.
I also help with formation in Theology of the Body which is given during the retreats of Corazon Puro and Amor y Vida. I provide leadership and organization for a variety of other activities. I seek to enrich my understanding and experiences in order to help those who need it, and for this reason I decided to begin my studies in the field of Community Health/Social Work. I am in my third year of studies.
Putting their whole trust in the Lord and Our Lady's intercession, they walk with childlike faith. THEY ARE WILLING TO PRAY FOR YOU!! They will gladly accept any prayer requests or intentions. Dios les bendiga!!!
