Nekemte Hospital Medical Equipment

Nekemte Referral Hospital is located in western Oromia region, Ethiopia. The hospital provides lifesaving healthcare to the millions of residents in and around the city of Nekemte. Services include 24/7 ER, Medical/Surgical Unit, Operating Room, Maternal and Child Health, Laboratory services and many more.

Currently, it is becoming increasingly difficult for Nekemte Referral Hospital to continue provide services because of lack of basic medical equipment. In order to solve this problem we have secured a donation of medical equipment that worth about $300,000. The donated medical equipment include but not limited to ultrasound machines, EKG machines, microscopes, ventilators, anesthesia machine, infant warmers, blood gas analyzers and many more items.   

The purpose of this fundraising is to cover the shipping cost of a medical equipment that was donated. The total shipping cost from the US port to a port of Djibouti is $25,000. So far, through small group campaign we have managed to raise $14,548.83.

Funds raised through this page will go directly to the shipping of medical equipment to Nekemte Referral Hospital.
