On 23 July 2018 Neil Saunders was in a head-on collision with a truck. The impact concertina'd the car from which Neil had to be rescued by the jaws of life. Neil was so badly crushed that he had to be helivaced from the scene. A stubborn cuss, Neil fought to survive for almost 3 more months. On Sunday, 30 September, Neil succumbed to his injuries and passed from this world. He was surrounded by his beautiful ladies - Jane Bardgett Saunders, his wife, and his daughters Charlotte and Georgia.
Operations, kidney dialysis treatments, ICU specialists, rehabilitation therapies and then rest home care - all have steadily built up costs that are crippling his family. The helivac alone has invoiced them $20,000 and it's one of the first bills to arrive. They need our help.
Neil loved the advertising industry. He was an international award-winning strategic marketing & planning director with 25+ years experience in Technology (Apple, Sony, Pioneer, HP, Samsung), Consumer Packaged Goods (Unilever, P&G, GSK, Colgate Palmolive) and Automotive (Chevrolet, Nissan). Neil was my dear, kind, and gentle friend.
It is our turn to now remember him by helping his family when they need us most. It's our turn to help support the ones he loved. Please give with fullness in your hearts.
