Share your blessings this Christmas with Grace!

My aunt Grace Valdon, a widow, is currently admitted in an ICU at a hospital in Dumaguete City, Philippines. She is fighting for her dear life due to diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), a life-threatening problem that affects people with diabetes. She is currently intubated and is breathing with the help of a ventilator. Her medical expenses including medicines and labs are at $800 a day excluding hospital bills. She has been in the ICU for 5 days already and her hospital bills are piling up the roof. My family and I couldn't find the means to keep up with her medical expenses. We have taken loans and sought medical assistance but still not enough to pay all her medical expenses. 

Aunt Grace is our go-to person, a loving and thoughtful aunt, sister, and grandmother. She has no children of her own. When her husband passed away 4 years ago, she has been living on her own. To make both ends meet, she worked as a nanny to my sister's children. In spite of her having a low income, she still manages to help anyone that asks her for help.

I am doing this fundraising on her behalf as a way of giving back to her.  My aunt Grace is a self-less person, she has been a great help to everyone around her. She makes our lives easier. Her kind nature is such an inspiration to us.
