Need help for engine repair

Hello! Recently my brother purchased his dream vehicle. He worked hard saving what was needed and doing research to find a vehicle.
He bought the car for around $6k. Unfortunately, after only 5k miles the engine started to have some issues. He brought it in for inspection and received the news that he will need to replace the engine. Currently he lives in Maine. The winters are rough and there is no public transportation. I will match every dollar up to $500. I wish I could do more but that all I can spare. He does deserve this vehicle, He put in the work, he just got a bad hand.  Any help you can provide I would be greatly in your debt. He doesn’t know I started this.  Aside from the car, he’s having a hard time emotionally. I think it would greatly lift his spirits to know he is seen! Cheers everyone! This is my first GoFundMe.
