Need funds to stop living in car and motels

Hello. We are a household of four; three humans over fifty years old, and one cat (two-ish) who have been between permanent addresses for the past ten months. We have one essential worker, one restaurant professional with over twenty years experience, displaced due to Covid-19, and one freelance writer/editor, with a severe visual impairment, who must work from home. 

We are seeking financial  help to end the cycle of homelessness and put down permanent roots that we may establish a firm base from which to take care of ourselves and not be a burden to our community. To that end, we need to be able to put down first month's rent on an apartment, get current on bills and replace essential lost times. Finding and securing a safe, pet-friendly place to stay for the short term is also a  very immediate pressing need.
