Goodoo Courier is a small shipping and delivery business services designed to serve the Haitian communities both in Haiti and in the Diaspora, as well as expats or family of expats connected to Haiti.
Our services include:
1- Online purchase (with or without valid credit/debit cards);
2- Goods delivery to Haiti; and soon
3- In-country delivery and logistics services.
The majority of the online giant retailers do not ship to Haiti due to address issues. We fix this problem by partnering with other small businesses and trusted young people as independent agents and pickup locations. In addition, few people in Haiti also have a valid debit or credit cards due to the poor banking system in the country. With our services, we help them by taking the cash from them and do the purchase on their behalf. Our business model is very innovative and inclusive. The fund we are raising will help us growing our capacity and provide a few more jobs to the youth in Haiti. We are planning to open a storefront/showroom in Port-au-Prince metro area. In this showroom, we will provide service such as goods pickup, internet browsing, money transfer services, printing and editing services, online purchase support, etc.
We would like to have the funds available to us by the end of June in order to open the storefront early August. This support will mean a lot to me and my staff as we are fighting to do our part in the economic development of Haiti. We are aware that a country cannot be developed on hands out. Real economic development will come when there is investment and financial stability among the people of the country. We will be very grateful for your support and will forever remember those who help us in this adventure.
