Paul's Journey

As you know am no stranger to this public platforms but due to a very sensitive and sad case with permission of the family we can go ahead with the plight that one local family has been coping with this last few years Paul Mc Daid/Doherty is a local 28yr old lad here in creggan and has been batting a front lobol tumour in his brain which sadly is very close to a very critical part of his brain which sadly can't be dealt with in a normal situation of just removing it.Paul during covid had some of the tumour removed and with that brought a sigh and some reassurance, things were a lot positive as op went as good as it could and life returned with some positivity and Paul battled on, then just recently an urgent call from the royal was to return the arduous journey that Paul and his father dreaded, the news was not great but faith was still there, Paul continues to do and always has done and that's to stay positive, he welcomed the chance of radium with the same courage he's always carried Paul himself suffers with aspergus and a few other debilating illnessess which he copes with in his own quiet and brave world.As were all experiencing the cost of living lately due to fuel and hiking travel prices I'm hoping that we could read this post and dig deep and try and help Paul and his daddy for the next few weeks with travel and the things that we all know to well ourselves that can arise from any type of diagnosis the panic of accommodation with the paternal fear setting in because the need to be close to support them it can we overwhelming it never leaves, I hope this can reach out to as many as we can and we can support this family on this new journey of theirs. These platforms not only can help financially but can also be a support network for any family they get to see well wishes and messages of encouragement that all the family can read through .
