At-risk community member needs emergency support.

**Our friend is a black, mentally ill, in-person sex worker with a compromised immune system, who is at risk of losing housing and still needs to purchase groceries for self-isolation***

Since the covid-19 crisis, most in-person sex workers are experiencing a complete freeze in income. Due to her disabilities/ chronic illness, our friend is often unable to work for weeks or months at a time, so she had no savings to fall back on. She has no way to earn income to pay rent or purchase enough groceries to self-isolate.

If any clients are willing to make appointments, she will be pressured to increase her level of human contact, or see clients she is not comfortable with in order to keep herself housed and fed. She has a compromised immune system so in addition to spreading the virus, she is at a very real risk of requiring hospitalization should she get sick.

The panic about covid-19 is enough to cause stress in anyone. Our friend's mental illness is being directly impacted by her constant stress that she cannot afford pay rent, when she should be stocking up on groceries, resting, and focusing her energy on managing her pre-existing health issues.

Please help us ensure that she is able to pay her rent & purchase groceries, so that she can focus on taking care of herself and limiting her exposure.
