NCU Dept. of Music & Fine Arts Musical Instruments

Northern Caribbean University (NCU) is a private liberal-arts institution located in Mandeville, Jamaica. NCU offers several professional, pre-professional and vocational programs in a spiritually wholesome and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.

NCU's annual Feast of Lights, the institution’s long-standing signature musical showcase, evokes universal reflections on the birth of the baby Jesus in a Bethlehem’s manger. Funds from Feast of Lights 2021 supported the University's Music Building Enhancement project and provided student scholarships. (See the video below on the project.)

Funds from Feasts of Lights 2022 will upgrade and provide musical instruments for the Department of Music & Fine Arts and student scholarships.

Across the alumni fraternity, memories of the Feast of Lights warm the heart like vicuña wool from the alpine peaks of the Andes. For others, including family, friends, and well-wishers, Feast of Lights continues to be the embodiment of another dipping in that exquisite and melodic tapestry of music, singing, poetry and performance, unique only to the hilltop, Ubi Semper Discimus – “where learning never ends.”
