Support Michelle's Cancer Treatment

My name is Heather Smith and I am setting up this gofundme page for my dear friend Michelle Alexis. I think of her as a sister and want to help her win the fight against a rare cancer. I have known Michelle for over 15years and she is an amazing woman and one of the kindest people I know. Please help me raise funds to pay for her cancer treatments.  She is doing everything in her power to not have to amputate her right arm from the shoulder down.

Michelle  was diagnosed in Aug 2013 with a sarcoma tumor in her right shoulder. Sarcomas are only 1% of all cancers. Michelle tried everything doctors could offer her: radiation, surgery, and two types of chemotherapy, but could not stop the tumor from growing back. Unfortunately, the tumor is wrapped around the nerves in her right arm, and when doctors suggested a final solution, amputation of her arm, she said NO.  Michelle found different cancer treatments that are offered outside of the US. She will be traveling to Europe to receive immunotherapy treatments. She will need over $100,000 to pay for these treatments. I would be doing the same thing to save my arm and life if I were in her shoes.

I wish I was in a financial place to help her. However I am not. I am asking for your kindness and support of any kind. Any donation of any size can make a difference. You don't know Michelle, but take it form me she is a very honest, intelligent, kind, loving, giving, beautiful, strong and brave woman. I really want her to kick this cancer's ass....
