Jackie's Fight (Hodgkin’s Lymphoma)


Our dear Jackie Le Vvintre was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Level 2B on June 6, 2018 after several months of doctors appointments and tests. Jackie is 21 years old and was suppose to graduate from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelors in Business Management this coming up August 2018, in addition to beginning OTS (Officer Training School) for the Marines. Having been in ROTC for several years, her military career has now been put on hold.
                    Because of the nature of the cancer, Jackie's oncologist is taking an aggressive approach to treating Jackie's Lymphoma. During the next six months, Jackie will be undergoing chemo therapy every other week. She has already started with her first round and is getting used to her new normal.
                    Jackie is a strong and beautiful woman who is full of compassion, kindness, and generosity. She's the kind of girl you will never hear her utter a bad word about anyone. She is the first to lend a hand to anyone in need, always ready and willing to sacrifice herself for her family, friends, and country. 
                    Her life has not always been easy. This summer marks the five year anniversary when Jackie's grandma was taken from them in a fatal car accident that Jackie, Jackie's Mother Mercedes, and her grandparents were all involved in. Needless to say, lighting has struck her again.
                    We would appreciate financial support for Jackie and her family as she battles this disease. She will not be able to work due to the aggressive treatments, and she has had to put her dreams and aspirations on hold while she fights this disease.
                    We ask for donations to help with lost wages, medical expenses, as well as peace of mind for the family who will be supporting her through this time in her life. Your generous donation will also be of value for the future this beautiful girl has ahead of her.
                    We would also ask for encouragement for Jackie and her family as they continue on this journey together. Jackie’s mother Mercedes, her father Paul, two sisters (Jennifer and Jessica), brother in law Jared, and Jackie's boyfriend Canyon all appreciate any support, whether it be with kind words, prayers, or financial support.
                    Cancer not only affects the patient but a community as a whole.
