We want you to know about what we do in APO-FU! We are a NGO (Non-governmental organization) created in Costa Rica by young people who are looking to improve health conditions, education, feeding and access to potable water in vulnerable communities.
Thanks ‘to our first fundraising APOFU manage to collect $3500.
We used the donated money to build two classrooms, feed our volunteers, finance our organic garden and buy tools needed for the land labor in Malawi, Africa.
Now, we continue to build more classrooms and strengthen our agro-ecological project.
Our priority is that the children learn to assure their nourishment, have access to potable water and with this improve their health.
During the next month we need to gather at least $20.000 to continue building a better future. With your donation we can help more than 1600 boys and girls from Dzaleka refugee camp who will part of our initiative.
Our goals for this year 2019:
-Finishing two classrooms along with the details like paint, windows, doors, desks and teaching materials.
-Build 4 new classrooms fully equipped.
-Start building our volunteer facility.
-Develop our vegetable organic gardens.
