Baby Jackson

Jackson Piers Fortner was found January 15, 2015 by the person babysitting him not breathing during his nap. Jackson only 4 months old at the time, was brought back to life in the emergency room. Jackson since then has been on the ventilator and in a NON medically induced coma. His pupils do not dilate, he does not move, besides a simple reflex. Jackson was starting to do a great bit of breathing over the vent and was even placed on CPAP at one point. Since then they have taken him off the vent completely and he did not tolerate it well. Now Jacksons health is starting to regress again. After many test, ct scans and days it has been made clear that he will never wake up and that he will have to be on a machine and laying in then bed for the rest of his life simply to keep him breathing and alive. After many days, hours and almost two months of praying his mom has made the incredibly hard decision to take him off life support Tuesday and let God take control. His mom has been out of work a lot, as you can imagine, since the accident and does not recieve any other income besides the hours she has been able to try to squeeze in at work. She has not asked for any help with anything and has been incredibly strong by jacksons side. She doesn't have life insurance for Jackson and has been struggling to decide how to plan a memorial for her little man. So i'm stepping in and asking for anyone who would like to help, even if its just a dollar, to please do so. And for those of you who cant afford to help all we ask is to please help by praying for little Jackson and his momma as we go through the next few days of celebrating all his "FIRST" that we are going to miss when the good Lord decides to take him home.
