Combat Veteran Starting a Business

I'm a disabled combat veteran trying to start a business for the past 6 years. I've been struggling to make the ends meet, but our family has finally found something that might work... A mobile video gaming app that will be fun to play and bring excitement to the users who play it.  I was trying to become a professional screenwriter, and although I have had compliments on how great my work was (including a poignant story about time spent in Afghanistan), there wasn't a production and distribution studio who would pick up any of the projects that I spent so much time and effort trying to make a difference.  I then thought of something that might be interesting to friends, family, and those people who I've never met, and that's when this idea for a fun game surfaced.  My 3 children are geographically separated from me, but truly believe that this product can simultaneously be fun for everyone and could make a difference in my life.

I was finally successful after many tries to find a professional development studio and publisher to help get this project off the ground, but it's very expensive.  A lot of capital must be raised to meet the project's development costs.  After getting rejected by nearly 100 investors and some banks, I got some advice from a good friend about trying 'crowd funding'.  That's why I'm here.  I'm looking for some help to make my dream come true and that's owning my own business after an honorable career in the military.

Any funding would absolutely be fantastic.  It would greatly benefit my family and me.  I'm positive that I'll succeed in this next endeavor.  I am a very hard worker.  Quitters never win, and winners never quit.  I truly believe that.
