Nazareth Elementary Playground
Tax deductible
Over ten years ago, Sacred Heart Cathedral School closed. I was blessed to have taught there for twenty years. I am thrilled to have Nazareth Elementary, now, carrying on the tradition of Catholic education at 311 Flower City Park. Many wonderful people and volunteers worked, endlessly, this summer to restore and beautify the interior of the school. Walking the halls and visiting classrooms, after Friday's ribbon cutting, was uplifting and truly wonderful! Sadly, all monetary funds have been used to renovate the inside of the building. However, the VERY OLD playground did NOT pass state inspection. It needs to be totally taken down before a new playground can be built. This is very costly. The children have no place to get fresh air and play, at this time. The school is located on a city corner with no yard or grass. A playground is so desperately needed.
I am reaching out to everyone for your kind generosity but especially urging all former students and Alumni, including former faculty, to donate. Please HELP Sister Margaret and her students to have the old playground safely torn down, and a new playground built in its place.
Thank you so very much. May God bless you all. ❤️✝️
