Lisa's Medical Expenses Due to Cancer

Hi everyone my name is Ashley and I'm starting this fund for my mom Lisa. As many of you know she had colon cancer in 2009 and after having surgery for that it later spread to her lung and liver. She had surgery on her lung at the begining of last year. We recently found out that her cancer has continued to progress. We are now at the point where she will be receiving in home hospice care 3 days a week. As you can imagine the cost of this is not very cheap. My step dad Ed's insurance does not have great hospice coverage and it may not last more then 3 months. Though we dont know how much more time my mom has with us we are trying to plan ahead incase they reach the end of that coverage. As some also know my step dad had heart surgery at the beginning of February. He is unable to work till the beginning of April at the earliest. Due to his place of employment they do not offer any disability so he has no income coming in. Any money raised will be used for my moms medical care as well as their household bills and food.
