Navi surgery

On Friday, 06/07 my mom called me to tell me something was wrong with Navi. She said it was bad. She took a video and I still haven’t been able to bring myself to watch it. I was already on my way home but was stuck in traffic. I rushed home and the moment I saw her I knew she needed to go straight to emergency care. She had lost all mobility in her hind legs and was in a lot of pain.

We rushed to the emergency vet and they got her back immediately. After waiting 5.5 hours were were told that Navi has a slipped disc in her back and her hind legs are now paralyzed. The vet says there’s about an 85% chance of recovery with surgery but the surgery is very, very costly and needs to be done within a very short span after the injury. We are pressed for time. She is in a lot of pain and it’s absolutely breaking my heart.
