I am Jennifer Ramsay and I am setting up this gofundme page for a new little family...here is their story....Many years ago, Jessica dreamed of becoming a MOM. Several years later, she was excited to be pregnant, only to be devasted by the loss of her baby, angel Gavriel. Fast forward to 2014, she found love, marries and is told that her chances of getting pregnant again were slim to none. So it was a miracle that Jes and Steve found out they were pregnant in the summer of 2017 and due to become parents in February 2018. On October 10th, Jess would write on Facebook, "Today we are 22 weeks along and tomorrow we will have been married for 3 years. I am so full of love." Suddenly on October 11th, things were not right. Jes ended up in the Labor and Delivery Unit at Intermountain Dixie Regional Medical Center, worried, how could this be happening again! She was just 22 weeks pregnant and would have to remain in the hospital on bedrest, receiving 5 shots in her stomach daily to keep baby Ruby Moon growing and alive!
November 12th, Ruby is 27 weeks, 2 days along and is not waiting any longer-born weighing in at 2 lbs 5 oz. Here comes the please pray and give a little if you can! Jessica and Steve, live paycheck to paycheck and had been saving in the event Ruby came early, but it wasn't enough. Jes has been out of work since being hospitalized and was denied short term disability. Ruby will need her mom by her side after Jes leaves the hospital.
If generous folks did not come forward and help with "our miracle baby, Logan" I am not sure things would have worked out!
These micro premmies need so much extra special care. I would love to see Jes only have to worry about Ruby and not have to worry about going back to work to pay the electric bill, car payment, how much will parking cost at the hospital, how expensive those premmie diapers can be, not to mention the "extra" things premmies require that are not covered by insurance!
My christian faith leads me to pay it forward, like so many people did when my grandson Logan was born. I will pass the reins of this page over to Jes and her mom so that updates will come as often as possible. No amount is too small and prayers are welcomed.
