Natural Disaster 2023

My Name Is Todd Belin and I was impacted by the EF4 Tornado in Central Arkansas at Calais Forest Apartments in West Little Rock Arkansas

On March 31, 2023 approximately 2:00pm Central Arkansas was struck by a powerful EF4 Tornado. It was a regular Friday for me. I am the director of the dance program at Westwind School for Performing Arts where I teach dance to middle school creatives. On this specific day, I was called into work early, about 9:15 am when normally I'm not scheduled until noon. The weather was nice and the sky was calm, I saw no signs of this horrific storm brewing. I recall that between 12pm and 1 pm sirens went off and we were asked to take proper precautions and that there was a Tornado warning in the area. I calmly took cover with my students and tried my best to comfort them and keep them calm. After hearing that the storm was finished, I remember walking into a room and seeing the recording on youtube. It was devastating to watch. While watching the video, I noticed the Olive Garden in West Little Rock AR and I saw that the storm was in my area. I notified my neighbor and she confirmed that our building was involved in the disaster and that the building we lived in was destroyed. My animals were home but not harmed, Amen! Although, they are suffering from relocation and the impact of the storm. They are safe and being fostered by an amazing family!

Due to certain circumstances, I am reaching out for assistance. These funds with assist with relocating and regaining as much as possible. Also help with pet expenses.To help cover expenses such as storage fees, clothing, food etc. Anything that will help me transition smoothly as possible.
