Nationwide Children's Blanket Drive

So as many of you know I was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year right around this time and went through extensive surgeries beginning in December and ending with the final surgery in January of 2017. Well, during my stay at the hospital over the holidays, I was generously gifted blankets made by many people and groups around central Ohio. My two blankets that I received were specifically made by Westerville North Volleyball Team! And I also received one from a fellow cheerleader, Aurbrey Morbitzer ( the Blanket featured in the photo above). It was the most comforting thing through my stay, something as simple as a handmade blanket brought so much comfort and joy to not only me but many other patients on the 10th & 11th floor at Nationwide Children's Hospital in time of need. So my goal from now till right around Christmas is to raise money to make these comforting blankets for the current patients on floors 10 & 11 for this holiday season.
