National Scholastic Gold Medal NYC

My senior student Diamond was selected for a gold medal in the National Scholastic competition.  I am raising the funds to get her, her mom, a sibling and an educator to New York June 5-8th for the awards ceremony and festivities.  

Diamond is a senior at a Title 1 school in Memphis, TN.  This is her first chance being apart of an awards ceremony (she missed the regional one due to unfortunate circumstances) and I want her to enjoy her first experience in New York City.

(meal each of the 4 days)$50/day                                            $200 not asking for but if raised will be sent to her in prepaid card form

$1,450.00 minimum to get diamond and her family to the awards.

While at the festivities Diamond will meet the 1% of students across the country that were awarded gold medals and participate in activities like the maker Prom, in which scholars make their prom outfits using materials donated by art companies and wear them to a "maker prom" on the night of 7th.  

I am grateful for all your help in funding Diamonds celebration. I, as her educator, am planning and pre-paying/reserving as much as I can in correspondence with her mom, but with a 4 month old of my own at home funds are tight.  I thank everyone again for anything that could be contributed.
