National Nursing Conference

We are trying to raise $10,000 for 8 NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) nursing students to attend the National Student Nurses Association Convention in Orlando, Florida this year. This provides opportunities for us to network, receive top-of-the-line NCLEX prep, and act as representatives of not only our school but as the future nurses of Arkansas.

Some information about our group— we are the SNA (Student Nursing Association) of NWACC. We act as the liaison between nursing students and the rest of the community. Some examples of our participation in the community include volunteering with 7hills, Table7Three, and Salvation Army, and just recently our students helped out with Dancing star Gala benefitting the Children’s Tumor Foundation!

We also fundraise to afford future financial assistance for those who may face difficult times during their schooling.
