National Mall Peace March

Peace is not just a dream; it's collective action waiting to happen! It's time to reclaim our nation for love, understanding, and unity. My name is Monica Michelle Manuel, I am a psychotherapist and community leader. In my practice and community, I’ve seen the toll that the state of the world has had on individuals and our collective society. The past few years have challenged some of our most fundamental values of togetherness and we have all been impacted in various ways.

We all deserve the right to not be burdened by crime, violence, poverty, discrimination, war, disease or anything that would otherwise steal from our human capacity to live in wholeness and wellbeing. We must unburden ourselves from the shackles that would cause us to continue to lose our humanity and more importantly stand up for the belief that we are all equally deserving of human rights.

On March 27, 2027 volunteers, community leaders and organizations who stand for peace are coming together for a landmark event – a National Mall Peace March that aims to bring together individuals of all races, sexual orientations, religions, abilities, ages and backgrounds. The 2025 National Mall Peace March will break down barriers, connect people across communities and culture, and amplify the message that WE ARE ALL ONE! The goal is to model the type of collaboration and unity we want to see in our government and the world.

Join us in helping to co-create an experience of collective healing that promotes unity, equality, and peace within our diverse communities. The mission is to demonstrate the fundamental right for all to exist in dignity, safety, and peace. The march seeks to reinforce the self-evident truths that we are ALL endowed with unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness and Joy.

The goal is to raise $1 million to cover essential expenses that will ensure the success of the 2025 National Mall Peace March. The funds will be allocated for the following purposes:

1. Inviting Well-Known Peace Leaders, Speakers and Performers: We aim to bring influential figures who can inspire and motivate participants to actively contribute to a more harmonious world.

2. Event Planners and Organizers: Experienced professionals will be crucial in coordinating logistics, ensuring a smooth flow of activities, and managing the overall event.

3. Marketing Fees: To reach a wide audience and encourage diverse participation, we need

effective marketing strategies that convey the importance of our message.

4. Infrastructure: This includes the provision of toilets, security personnel, on-site emergency medical responders, and trash pickup services to guarantee the safety and comfort of all attendees.

5. Staging, Sound, and Electrical Equipment: A well-equipped stage and quality audio-visual systems are essential for effective communication during the event.
