Anthony De La Cruz is an eighteen year old amateur boxer from Ventura County. Anthony attended Ventura High School and graduated with a 4.0 grade point average in 2017.
We call Anthony the Young Clark Kent because of the way he looks with his glasses on and his pleasant, laid back easy going attitude. But when Anthony takes off his glasses and gets into the boxing ring he does things that you would not expect from this mild-mannered young man. Anthony has been around the boxing gym his whole life, coming from a boxing family, but did not start to compete until 2016 at the age of 16. In the past two years, Anthony has competed and won six Championships.
Anthony's accomplishments are as follows:
2016 State of California Champion
2016 & 2017 Blue and Gold Champion
2016 & 2017 PAL National Champion
2018 Regional Section Golden Gloves Champion
The 2018 National Golden Gloves Tournament is being hold in Omaha, Nebraska from May 14th - May 19th. We are asking for your help!!! We need to raise $2700.00 to send Team Anthony De La Cruz to attend this years' Golden Gloves Tournament, to bring the National Championship to California. Our deadline to raise the funds is April 14, 2018.
