Set Tra up for Success!

Hello!

My wife and I are now caregivers of our 28 year old brother with Down Syndrome after our mother passed suddenly from cancer. We are looking for ways to connect with other adult siblings, gain information to assist our brother, and provide Tra with relationships of others with Down syndrome.

We were so thankful when we heard about the National Down syndrome Congress convention and the opportunities for learning, connecting, and sharing. After much research and working the numbers, we realized quickly that attending the conference would NEVER be a reality without help. We totaled up the estimated cost to be around $3,000 for plane tickets, rental car, hotel, and food. Not to mention paying for a pet sitter while we are gone.

So how can we make this is reality... we are asking for help. Help from you to sponsor our family for the opportunity of a lifetime! We would really appreciate any assistance you all could give and in return we are happy to share our story or even help start a scholarship program for families like ours.

The conference is July 20-23 and we would like to have funds to book hotel and transportation by first of July! We are also willing to accept if you have miles for flying or points for hotels that you want to share and book.
