On September 22, 2017, our good friend Nathaniel Banks almost lost his life due to being an undiagnosed type one diabetic. .He and his wife were on their way to Dallas when he became very ill. Jennifer his wife took him to the hospital where he was diagnosed as a diabetic with a glucose level of 1685. The doctors and staff have never witness someone living with a level that high. I saw him that night and for him to be alive today is truly a miracle from God. If you know Nat like many of you do. You know he has given so much to our families and communities. I feel that it is our time to give back and help Nat and his family in their time of need. He is still in the hospital in Lufkin. He will have a long road ahead physically and financially. He currently has renal failure and has to be treated by dialysis. Him and his wife (his caretaker) will not be able to return to work anytime soon.
