My name is Laura and I am trying to help my dear friend Kerry and her family in these absolutely heartbreaking circumstances.

Sadly, Kerry lost her beloved son at aged just 16 years old this week in such devastating circumstances on the railway line.

Every parent’s worse nightmare having to plan their own child’s funeral. I know everyone is struggling in these times, but if there is anything you can contribute however small please do so to show your support at this sad time.

Nathan's mum described her son as a "kind, loving, gentle and polite young man". She said: "He was the best son anyone could ask for and an amazing big brother to his siblings”.
